The Team

Tucked away in the office, Mandy looks after all the bookings and enquiries.

Mandy first joined the team when her own children were attending lessons at Locks Heath Swim School and she decided to apply for the office position.

Lynda has been swimming her whole life! The highlight was medalling at Nationals.

Lynda has been involved with Locks Heath Swim School since 1991 as a qualified Swim England Teacher, Coach, and Open Water Coach.

She loves seeing swimmers of all ages and abilities  grow in skill and confidence.

Wendy began swimming with Basingstoke SC, eventually reaching National level.

Years later, while watching her daughter in lessons, Wendy felt inspired to return to the sport—this time as an instructor.

Wendy loves passing on her enthusiasm for swimming to the children she teaches.

Julie has been an Instructor for twenty years and has taught all ages, from babies to adults.

She thoroughly enjoys being part of each swimmer’s journey—supporting them as they steadily grow, progress, and reach their full potential.

Suzanne has been working at Locks Heath Swim School for two years.

Suzanne loves to see the younger generation achieve something they once thought they couldnt.

Suzanne is passionate about building confidence and delivering lessons that are fun, engagaing and rewarding.

Gillian joined the team in 2011, managing rgisters and liasing with parents.

Gillian loves working at the pool as she gets to see the children progress from their first splash into confident, capable swimmers.

Emily has been working on the desk and poolside for two years. She is also still a member of the competitive squad which she joined aged eight.

Emily loves to interact with the younger swimmers , helping them become the best they can be.

Millie assists with lessons and communicates with the parents.

Millie has a background in competitive swimming and loves to share her knowledge with the youngsters.

Millie finds it very rewarding to be able to support swimmers and assist their progress.

Max has been part of the Locks Heath team for nine years.

Starting in Swim School, progressing to the competitive squad and now working poolside.

Max enjoys supporting the Instructors and ensuring the swimmers are able to progress in a safe and positive enviroment.
